FRANCESCA LAROSA

Welcome! I am an applied economist with interest in the dynamics of the twin (digital and green) transition. My work tackles pressing policy questions about climate trade-offs of artificial intelligence (AI) with focus on cleantech and environmental footprint of AI. 

I work at the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC) Foundation in Venice (Italy). I am a former Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postodoctoral Fellow at Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden with secondment at University of Zurich, Switzerland. 

I am also a Member of the Steering Committee of the United Nations "AI for Good" initative, one of co-founders of Climate AI Nordics and I work extensively to promote a sustainable digital transition in companies at Align Impact Sweden.
